Nexon bids farewell to Dynasty Warriors M, the mobile adaptation of the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. The game's servers will officially shut down on February 20th, 2025, bringing an end to epic battles and strategic conquests within the Three Kingdoms.
In-app purchases were halted on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the player community, the reasons behind the game's closure remain undisclosed. The relatively short lifespan of the game, launched in November 2023, hints at performance challenges.
Dynasty Warriors M offered a unique blend of action-packed Musou combat and strategic gameplay. Players could collect and develop 50 officers from five factions, engaging in battles across a vast map encompassing 13 regions and 500 stages. The game also featured a story mode that recreated historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang.
