HoYoverse's romance detective game, Tears of Themis, unveils its latest update: "Legend of Celestial Romance," launching January 3rd. Prepare for a mythical fantasy adventure in the virtual world, Codename: Celestial.
A Mythical Fantasy Event
This event transports the Tears of Themis world into a virtual cultivation setting. The NXX team adopts new identities, embarking on a journey through hidden realms within a divine mountain. Players join them, navigating mystical landscapes and engaging in challenges.
The NXX team receives an invitation to a virtual game featuring level progression, exploration of mysterious areas, and battles/puzzles solved using unique sect skills assigned to each of the four main characters. Participation earns event-limited rewards, including the "Upon the Heavens" Invitation, four limited R cards, a Namecard, and a Badge—some rewards are free.
Romance Takes Center Stage
The core of the event revolves around romance with a celestial twist. The "Legend of Celestial Romance" introduces four new SSR cards obtainable through the Shadow of Themis gacha system: Luke's "Love Across Realms," Artem's "A Timeless Dream," Vyn's "Trial by Love," and Marius's "Captivating Hearts."
Players can also acquire the Legend of Celestial Romance Dynamic Invitation, showcasing a romantic scene with flickering candles, drawn curtains, and exchanged vows.
Further Challenges and Rewards
Players can enhance their Cultivation Level by completing training challenges in the Celestial Abode Lizhu. Event tasks grant Activeness points and Celestial Moon Vases, exchangeable for rewards such as 10 Tears of Themis – Limited, the Celebration – Legend Namecard, and a past event SR card.
