New Riftborne Monsters Emerge
Season Six of Monster Hunter Now introduces terrifying Riftborne monsters - creatures transformed by mysterious environmental anomalies.
The inaugural Riftborne lineup features mutated versions of Rathian, Tobi-Kadachi, and Barroth. These formidable foes appear starting at 8-star difficulty, presenting hunters with unprecedented challenges.
Hunting Horn Joins the Arsenal
The season brings the long-awaited Hunting Horn weapon class to Monster Hunter Now. This versatile instrument delivers both offensive power and vital team support through musical melodies.
The Hunting Horn operates uniquely: successful attacks accumulate notes that, when played in specific sequences, unleash powerful buffs. These include attack boosts, defense enhancements, and Special Gauge acceleration. The Magnificent Trio (SP) ability even extends existing melody durations.
Major Seasonal Updates
Season Six introduces Style Customization - a game-changing system enabling weapon modifications at grade 8+. This feature enhances statistics while offering gameplay-altering possibilities.
Following Season Five's introduction of Glavenus, hunters can now pursue Nargacuga alongside other newcomers: Beotodus, Bishaten, and Great Wroggi. Familiar faces like Jyuratodus, Anjanath, and Barioth also return for thrilling encounters.
The weapon customization expands significantly with two distinct new combat styles per weapon class. These styles fundamentally change combo sequences and charged attacks, allowing personalized hunting approaches.
