Lego is releasing a series of Minecraft Movie sets to coincide with the upcoming Jack Black-led film, offering a glimpse into the movie's mob roster.
Two sets have been revealed so far: the Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring and The Ghast Balloon Village Attack. These will join the existing line of standard Minecraft Lego sets, but will feature minifigures of characters like Jack Black's Steve and Jason Momoa's The Garbage Man.
The $49.99, 491-piece Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring depicts a gladiator-style battle. Momoa's character is shown fighting a zombie riding a giant chicken—the exact scale is unclear, but the chicken-zombie combo is roughly twice The Garbage Man's height. The set also includes Steve, Henry, a giant zombie pigman, a fighting ring, a treasure chest, and a small viewing stand with weapons.

The Ghast Balloon Village Attack set, priced at $69.99 and containing 555 pieces, showcases the Nether's Ghast in a large-scale battle within a typical overworld village. This set includes one villager minifigure, two piglins, Steve, Natalie, Dawn, and an iron golem.

Both sets launch March 1st, a month ahead of The Minecraft Movie's April 4th theatrical release.
The film's September reveal sparked immediate fan criticism over the contrast between the live-action characters and the CGI-animated world. One fan even recreated the trailer in a fully animated style. However, the director and producer acknowledged this reaction in a November interview with IGN, confidently stating they "were ready for everything."
