Actress Michelle Trachtenberg, known for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl, has passed away at age 39, according to reports from The Post.
Law enforcement sources confirm Trachtenberg's death is not being treated as suspicious. ABC News reports her mother discovered Trachtenberg unresponsive on Wednesday in her Manhattan apartment near Columbus Circle. The actress had reportedly undergone a liver transplant recently and may have experienced related complications.
Authorities believe the death resulted from natural causes, with no indications of foul play. An autopsy will determine the official cause and manner of death.

Trachtenberg began her career at age nine in the 1990s Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete and Pete before making her film debut in 1996's Harriet the Spy.
She rose to fame playing Dawn Summers, younger sister to Sarah Michelle Gellar's character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2000-2003). Other notable roles included Jenny in the 2004 teen comedy EuroTrip and Casey Carlyle in the 2005 sports drama Ice Princess.
From 2007-2012, Trachtenberg portrayed Georgina Sparks in The CW's Gossip Girl, later reprising the role in the HBO Max revival series.
