The new Sanctum Showdown mode in Marvel Snap offers an exciting twist on gameplay, challenging players to master fresh snapping mechanics. The first player to reach 16 points will be crowned the winner, introducing a dynamic and fast-paced competition. This limited-time event is available until March 11th, so don't miss your chance to compete and claim the title of Sorcerer Supreme.
In this unique mode, the traditional six-turn game is replaced by a race to 16 points. The key to victory lies in the special Sanctum location, which awards the highest points each turn. Starting from turn three, you can snap once per turn, increasing the Sanctum's value by one point and shifting the momentum in your favor.
Participating in Sanctum Showdown requires one Scroll per match, and winning grants you another Scroll to keep the action rolling. You begin with 12 Scrolls and receive two more every eight hours. If you deplete your Scrolls, you can buy additional ones for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match outcome, your Sorcerer Rank will increase, and you'll earn Charms that can be redeemed in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetics or new cards.
Strategizing for Sanctum Showdown? Keep in mind that some cards and locations are banned to maintain fairness. Abilities that affect final outcomes won't work here, and cards like Debrii have been excluded to prevent one-sided strategies. To build the perfect deck for this challenge, consult our Marvel Snap tier list for guidance.
If you're eyeing cards like Laufey, Gorgon, or Uncle Ben, Sanctum Showdown is your exclusive opportunity to unlock them before they become available in the Token Shop on March 13th. Through Portal Pulls, you can acquire these cards for free, along with up to four Series 4 or 5 cards.
Don't miss out on the action—Sanctum Showdown in Marvel Snap is available until March 11th. For more details, be sure to visit the official website.
