Marvel Rivals Season 1: Pre-Season Hero Stats Reveal Surprising Favorites and Underdogs
NetEase has released the first month's hero statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting top picks and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on PC and console. The data reveals some surprising favorites and underdogs as the game prepares for Season 1 and the arrival of the Fantastic Four.
The most popular hero in Quickplay, across both PC and console, is Jeff the Land Shark. However, Mantis boasts the highest win rate overall, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock. These statistics, however, are expected to shift with the launch of Season 1 on January 10th.
Competitive play shows a different picture. Cloak & Dagger reigns supreme on consoles, while Luna Snow dominates on PC.
Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:
- Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
In stark contrast to the popular picks, Storm, a Duelist character, suffers from extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a dismal 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to criticism of her damage and gameplay. Fortunately, NetEase has announced balance changes for Season 1, including significant buffs for Storm, which could dramatically alter her position in the meta. The introduction of the Fantastic Four in Season 1 will undoubtedly further reshape the competitive landscape.
