Once considered a distant dream, the idea of Marvel Rivals making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 now appears increasingly feasible. Although NetEase had previously dismissed the possibility for the original Switch due to technical limitations, the upcoming successor might just be the game-changer we're hoping for.
During the DICE Summit, producer Weikang Wu shared that active discussions with Nintendo are underway. The primary challenge? Ensuring that the game runs smoothly and consistently on the new hardware:
"The first-generation Switch simply didn’t have the power to deliver the gameplay experience we envisioned. But if the Switch 2 can handle it, we’re absolutely ready to bring the game to the platform."

With the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, major players in the gaming industry are showing enthusiastic support. Phil Spencer has hinted at Xbox’s interest in bringing its titles to the new system, while Electronic Arts (EA) has also expressed its backing.
As for Marvel Rivals, the game is gearing up for exciting expansions, with two members of the Fantastic Four set to join the fray in upcoming updates.
