NetEase's free-to-play PvP hero shooter, Marvel Rivals, is gearing up for its highly anticipated Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls." This update introduces new heroes and maps, expanding the Marvel universe within the game. Here's the breakdown of the release date and new content.
Marvel Rivals Season 1 Release Date
Season 1 launches on January 10th at 4:00 AM Eastern Time (ET). To help players worldwide plan accordingly, here's a time zone conversion chart:

New Content in Marvel Rivals Season 1
The Fantastic Four are joining the Marvel Rivals roster!
- Mister Fantastic (Duelist): Available January 10th.
- Invisible Woman (Strategist): Available January 10th.
- The Thing: Arriving in late February.
- Human Torch: Arriving in late February.
Note that Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will debut on January 10th, with The Thing and Human Torch following approximately six to seven weeks later, in the final week of February.
Two new maps set in New York City will also be introduced:
- Empire of Eternal Night
- Midtown Sanctum Sanctorum
