Lies of P: DLC and Sequel Teased – A Director's Message
Director Ji-Won Choi recently delivered exciting news for Lies of P fans, blending a heartfelt thank you with tantalizing glimpses of upcoming DLC and a full sequel. Celebrating the game's anniversary, Choi's message highlighted the team's dedication, fueled by the community's enthusiastic reception. The DLC, he promised, will expand upon the base game's strengths while addressing previously identified issues. He emphasized a commitment to building on existing successes and improving areas needing further development.
Concept art and a new musical piece were unveiled. The artwork depicts P in a snowy landscape, gazing at a lighthouse—a clear indication of new challenges and locations. The shared musical track, while labeled "new," is a previously composed piece by "onoken," owned by NEOWIZ, and features a music video echoing the game's style.
The DLC's release is slated for the second half of 2024, alongside other NEOWIZ projects including The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy, Cats & Soup: Malang Town, Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe, and Project IG. Earlier reveals showcased concept art depicting an industrial facility and a perilous shipwreck, further hinting at the scope of the upcoming expansion.
While a concrete release date remains unannounced, Choi assured fans that their anticipation will be rewarded. This DLC, however, is merely the prelude to a larger plan: a full sequel to Lies of P is also in development.
