The White Wolf is making his final appearance as production for the much-anticipated fifth and final season of *The Witcher* is now underway. Exciting new photos featuring Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt de Rivia have surfaced online, sparking a wave of anticipation among fans. These seemingly leaked set photos, available on the dedicated Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcase Hemsworth fully transformed into Geralt, complete with the character's signature long blonde hair. Alongside him, familiar faces such as Meng'er Zhang reprising her role as Milva and Joey Batey returning as the beloved Jaskier, remind us of the series' rich tapestry of characters previously led by Henry Cavill.
Hemsworth was officially announced to replace Cavill starting from Season 4 and continuing through the fifth season back in October 2022. The excitement continues with set images revealing new characters set to debut in Season 4, who will also feature in the final season. Notably, the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, joins the cast as Emiel Regis.

These leaked set photos hint that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s *Tower of the Swallow*, particularly with scenes involving Geralt meeting beekeepers who guide him toward druids. However, with Season 4 still pending release, the narrative could take many turns, leaving fans eager to see how the story unfolds and how these new elements will fit into the grand scheme.
It's worth noting that Henry Cavill isn't the only cast member to depart the series. Kim Bodnia, who portrayed Geralt’s mentor Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement or provide an official release date for Season 4, adding to the suspense and anticipation surrounding the series' conclusion.
