One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games, One More Level is shifting gears with this title. While they also have Project Swift in development (slated for a 2028 release), the newly unveiled artwork strongly suggests Cyber Slash is their current focus.

Cyber Slash offers a unique twist on history, transporting players to an alternate 19th century, a dark and epic reimagining of the Napoleonic era. Expect legendary heroes battling unknown forces and confronting terrifying threats.
Gameplay will maintain a challenging, action-packed feel, but will deviate from the Souls-like formula. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist will undergo a transformative evolution through mutations throughout the game. This promises a fresh take on the combat system that defined Ghostrunner.
