A Little to the Left has rolled out its final update, aptly named the Packed Update—a heartfelt farewell to active development. While this marks the end of new content from the team, the game remains fully playable for both new and returning players. Originally launched on PC and other platforms in 2022, the mobile version arrived in November 2024, bringing its charming puzzle experience to Android users. Developed by the Canadian indie studio Max Inferno and published by Secret Mode, the game began as a creative spark during a game jam by founders Annie Macmillan and Lukas Steinman.
What’s New in the Packed Update?
This closing update is packed with meaningful additions and refinements. It introduces three new puzzles, each centered around organizing a drawer: a bathroom drawer, a tool drawer, and a stash of paper plane supplies—perfect for fans who love sorting the little things in life.
The Daily Tidy mode gets a significant upgrade too. A brand-new book-themed puzzle joins the rotation, while classics like Microscope and Calendar return with redesigned layouts. The mode now features a checkpoint system and bonus stars, making daily challenges more engaging and rewarding.
One of the most welcome improvements is the enhanced feedback system. Instead of leaving players guessing, the game now clearly explains the logic behind correct solutions. Over 25 puzzles have been updated with better hints, including content from the Cupboards & Drawers and Seeing Stars DLCs—featuring items like the Jewelry Box and Markers.
A major highlight is the introduction of Shuffle Mode. Unlocked after completing the main campaign, this mode randomly mixes all available levels—from the base game, Archive, and both DLCs—delivering over 160 unique puzzles in unpredictable order. It’s the ultimate test of patience and precision for completionists.
Additional Fixes and Accessibility Improvements
The update also includes a range of quality-of-life fixes. Players who’ve completed over 365 puzzles can now use a badge selector to showcase their favorite achievements. A new tutorial clarifies how stars are awarded in puzzles with multiple valid solutions.
Accessibility gets a boost with the new Colour Assist Mode, designed for players with colour vision differences. The team has replaced certain puzzles reliant on colour recognition with alternative versions, ensuring everyone can enjoy the full experience. If you haven’t played yet, [ttpp] offers the game on the Google Play Store for a seamless download.
