Fans of the Jurassic Park franchise have something new to look forward to with the upcoming release of Jurassic World Rebirth. The film's writer, David Koepp, who also penned the screenplay for the iconic 1993 Jurassic Park, has revealed that he drew inspiration directly from Michael Crichton's original novels for this latest installment. Since Jurassic World Rebirth does not have a corresponding novel to adapt from, Koepp revisited the source material to enrich the sequel's narrative.
In a recent interview with Variety, Koepp disclosed that he incorporated elements from the first Jurassic Park novel that were initially left out of the 1993 film due to space constraints. "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for," he explained. "We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"
Although Koepp kept the specific sequence under wraps, this revelation has sparked widespread speculation among fans about which scenes from the novel might finally make their cinematic debut. As anticipation builds, several scenes have been highlighted as prime candidates for inclusion in Jurassic World Rebirth.
