January 2025's PlayStation Plus Free Game Lineup: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and The Stanley Parable
PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd, 2025.
This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PS5 title that generated significant discussion upon its release in February 2024. While its player base has since decreased, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have the opportunity to experience it for themselves. This game boasts the largest file size of the three, weighing in at 79.43 GB on PS5.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, a PS4 title, requires 31.55 GB of storage. It's important to note that this version lacks native PS5 support and doesn't utilize PS5 enhancements; however, it remains playable via backward compatibility.
Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe offers both PS4 and PS5 versions, with file sizes of 5.10 GB and 5.77 GB respectively. This expanded edition includes enhanced accessibility and content warnings.
To download all three games, PS5 users will need approximately 117 GB of free storage. Sony is expected to announce February's PlayStation Plus offerings towards the end of January. The service will also continue to add new Extra and Premium titles throughout the year.
