Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen to follow the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest financial data for January 2025 showcases some notable shifts in the genre's landscape. Genshin Impact, developed by miHoYo (HoYoverse), released a significant update featuring the Pyro Archon, Mawuika, which captivated players and resulted in the game doubling its revenue to an impressive $99.4 million, up from $45.6 million in December 2024.

In the race for the top spots, Pokemon TCG secured second place with earnings of $64 million, while the popular "female gacha" game, Love and Deepspace, took third place with $55.2 million. Meanwhile, Honkai Star Rail saw its earnings dip to $50.8 million, and Zenless Zone Zero experienced a significant drop, with revenues halving from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings are based solely on mobile platform revenues. Some of these games, including those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, there's a key nuance in the data calculation: "Since Google Play does not exist in China, the estimates published for Android data in China are determined using a multiplier based on iOS revenue in the country."
