Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled a sneak peek at the upcoming Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This update brings a wave of new content, headlined by the arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman.
The new season will introduce:
-
Invisible Woman: The Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman joins the fray as a new Strategist class character. Gameplay footage showcases her versatile abilities, including a healing attack, a knockback for close-range enemies, invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and an ultimate ability creating a zone of invisibility.
-
New Maps: Prepare to battle across newly designed maps.
-
New Game Mode: A fresh game mode will add strategic depth to the gameplay experience.
-
Updated Battle Pass: A brand-new battle pass offers exciting rewards.
While Mister Fantastic will also debut in Season 1, Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games has confirmed that full seasons will span approximately three months.
Another exciting reveal is the inclusion of Mister Fantastic, whose gameplay showcases his unique stretching abilities and increased durability. His kit seems to blend Duelist and Vanguard characteristics.
Though some fans anticipated Blade's arrival alongside Dracula (the Season 1 antagonist), his inclusion has been postponed. While leaked data suggests his eventual appearance, he won't be part of the initial launch.
Despite this minor setback, the upcoming content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players. The addition of the Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and the promise of more Fantastic Four members later in the season ensures a thrilling start to Season 1.
