What Is Sunrise on the Reaping About?
Sunrise on the Reaping is the fifth book in the Hunger Games series and takes place approximately 40 years after the events of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and 24 years before the original Hunger Games novel featuring Katniss. The story unfolds during the Second Quarter Quell, which was famously won by Haymitch Abernathy. Fans of the series will recognize Haymitch as the mentor for District 12, a role memorably portrayed by Woody Harrelson in the films.
