- A spin-off titled Once Human: RaidZone is coming to the game
- Compete against other players in PvP survival battles while gathering resources
- Experience a Rust-inspired survival twist within the Once Human universe
While not for everyone, NetEase's Once Human has attracted a significant following on both mobile and PC. In a bold and swift move, the developer is launching a dedicated PvP experience with the early access release of Once Human: RaidZone.
Once Human: RaidZone doesn't reinvent the wheel—it appears to be built upon the foundation of the original game. Positioned as a sub-brand, it zeroes in exclusively on PvP combat while retaining the core survival mechanics from the main title.
Engage in Rust-style battles against other players across the map, construct your own defensive bases, and wield an arsenal of weapons. As you progress, your equipment evolves—starting from a basic wooden shelter and primitive crossbows, advancing to concrete fortresses and assault rifles.
More Than a Mere Add-onDespite its potential for fun, Once Human: RaidZone faces a few challenges. Its distinct focus on PvP is a double-edged sword, as it may lack the supernatural aesthetic that initially drew players to Once Human. This could make it struggle to stand out in the crowded mobile survival shooter genre.
Nevertheless, you can experience it for yourself—Once Human: RaidZone launches in early access on May 21st.
