HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero continues to make waves in the mobile gaming market. The release of the version 1.4 update, titled "And the Starfall came," has propelled the game to new heights, achieving a record-breaking daily player spending of $8.6 million on mobile devices alone. This surpasses the previous peak set at the game's launch in July 2024.
According to AppMagic, Zenless Zone Zero's total revenue on mobile devices has now exceeded $265 million. The 1.4 update introduced new agents, Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, along with enhancements to game mechanics, new locations, and modes, which have significantly boosted player engagement and spending.

As part of the promotional campaign, Asaba Harumasa was made available for free to all players, while a banner featuring Hoshimi Miyabi played a crucial role in driving the game's record revenue.
The 1.4 update has successfully maintained player interest beyond the typical post-update drop-off. Normally, player spending decreases a week after updates, but this time, revenues remained above $1 million per day for over 11 consecutive days, and even surpassed $500,000 two weeks post-launch.
Despite its impressive performance, Zenless Zone Zero still falls short of HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
