Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, launches January 9th, introducing Durandal's new battlesuit and exciting events.
New Battlesuit and Gear:
Durandal's highly anticipated new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, is an IMG-type Physical DMG dealer with two forms: Rampager (javelin attacks) and Skyrider (hoverboard combat). Her ultimate involves an aerial javelin assault. Reign Solaris is perfectly complemented by the new Valorous Effulgence weapon (and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage), boosting QTEs and javelin count. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, highlights Durandal's parallel universe escapades, showcasing themes like soccer, bands, and skateboarding.

Story and Event Updates:
Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars, continuing Dreamseeker's investigation into the Ten Shus War, revealing more about Coralie's fate and a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.
A new cube puzzle game, featuring Vita and a younger Durandal as Cube-ianka, offers rewards including 60 million Crystals and Source Prisms.
The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event features comedic encounters with Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving dodging drumsticks and rhythmic counterattacks, follower command battles, and even monster training. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
