Subway Surfers City: A Fresh Take on Endless Running
The beloved Subway Surfers franchise returns with a new installment, Subway Surfers City, currently in soft launch. While retaining the addictive core gameplay, Subway Surfers City adds exciting new elements.
Currently in soft launch, the game is available for download only in select regions (Netherlands, Canada, and Denmark). SYBO Games has yet to announce a global release date.
Familiar Fun, New Challenges
The core gameplay remains: run through vibrant cityscapes, collect coins, and evade the inspector and his dog. However, Subway Surfers City introduces a brand-new setting, naturally called Subway City, featuring fresh obstacles, new heights to conquer, and a roster of both familiar and brand-new characters (Jake, Tricky, Fresh, Yutani, Jay, and Billy). Unlocking unexplored areas is now tied to an XP system.
Enhanced visuals, a revamped leveling system, and character upgrades round out the improvements. Secret stars add another layer of challenge and reward as players progress.
While experienced Subway Surfers players will find the basic running, jumping, and dodging mechanics familiar, new obstacles and twists keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.
