Eagle-eyed fans of Helldivers 2 have uncovered what appears to be a leak from PlayStation, hinting that players might soon find themselves battling the Illuminate on the streets of Super Earth. This week, developer Arrowhead rolled out a full-scale Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types to the game. The narrative surrounding the invasion indicated that the Illuminate were set on a collision course with Super Earth, and now, a leak from the official Czech Republic Threads account suggests that not only will the Illuminate reach our home planet, but players will need to defend it against them.
Redditor xTekshi brought attention to a now-deleted post that mentioned an upcoming "Heart of Democracy" update scheduled for May 20. Although "Heart of Democracy" has been referenced in the context of this week's update, neither Sony nor Arrowhead have officially confirmed its connection to a May 20 release. The timing of this potential update aligns intriguingly with the conclusion of the current Major Order, adding credibility to the leak.

The language used by both Sony and Arrowhead in their updates has been telling, with phrases like "High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself" and "Battle on Super Earth is inevitable." This has led fans to speculate that the Czech account inadvertently revealed Helldivers 2's next major update, which would involve defending Super Earth. If these speculations hold true, this would mark a significant evolution for the game, currently featuring only alien planet maps. Engaging in battles on Super Earth could introduce a fresh and exciting dynamic to the already explosive third-person action game.
