The team shared, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"
Much like its critically acclaimed predecessor, Hades, which spent 22 months in early access before its full release, Hades 2 is following a similar development path. However, Supergiant aims to deliver the complete experience sooner. With steady updates and active community engagement, the final version is now within sight.
Exclusive First Launch on Nintendo Switch 2
In a recent episode of Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice video series, Supergiant confirmed that Hades 2 will make its debut as a timed exclusive on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the console set to launch on June 5, the game is expected to release in close proximity to that date.
This marks a significant moment for the studio, as Hades 2 is Supergiant’s first-ever sequel.
