After an eagerly anticipated wait of over two years, PC players of Grand Theft Auto V are set to receive a significant update on March 4. This update will bring the PC version in line with the enhancements seen in the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, which launched in 2022. The best part? All current players will receive this update at no additional cost, with seamless transfer of progress in both GTA Online and the Story mode.
The lion's share of the upgrade focuses on GTA Online, introducing a vast array of content that was previously exclusive to console players. In addition, the GTA+ subscription service will now be accessible on PC, offering subscribers accelerated business profit collection and a suite of other benefits. Rockstar Games has also bolstered the game's anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing field.

This update also introduces notable graphical improvements, though it comes with the caveat of increased system requirements. Players with hardware unable to support the new version can opt to continue playing the original, as Rockstar will continue to support it. However, it's important to note that there will be no cross-version play, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together.
