After an eagerly anticipated wait, fans of the iconic puzzle game can rejoice as World of Goo 2 has finally made its debut on mobile platforms. Developed by the creative minds at 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation, this sequel is now available on Android, iOS, as well as on Steam and PlayStation 5.
A Ton of New Stuff
World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces an array of exciting new features, including over 30 additional achievements to unlock. A notable addition is the options menu, marking a first for any game from 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation.
The original World of Goo, released on Windows in October 2008, captivated players with its unique challenge of constructing bizarre bridges and towers using goo balls, all while battling the forces of physics and gravity.
In this sequel, players can now manipulate realistic flowing, splashing, and viscous liquid. This liquid can be directed like a river, transformed into Goo Balls, used to extinguish fires, and employed to solve increasingly complex puzzles.
World of Goo 2 Mobile also introduces a variety of new Goo types, including Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, Explosive Goo, and more. Experimenting with these diverse Goo species promises to offer a thrilling and challenging gameplay experience.
