Event Prerequisites:
To participate, ensure you've reached Adventure Rank 20 and completed the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not mandatory, completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context and introduces Shuyu.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The event features five simulated beetle battles within the Serenitea Pot on Mt. Aocang. Control your Onikabuto using simple forward, backward, and jump controls. Mastering stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Strategic use of Piercing Strikes (by holding the attack button) maximizes damage.
Battling the Beetles:
Here's a breakdown of each stage's opponent and effective strategies:
- Stage 1: A basic Hilichurl. Repeated head strikes are effective. Dodge ground markings indicating attacks.
- Stage 2: A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target the head and exploit the Slime's vulnerability, especially during its throwing animation.
- Stage 3: A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its spellcasting, then unleash a flurry of attacks.
- Stage 4: A Cryo Abyss Mage. Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- Stage 5: A Stonehide Lawachurl. Rapid attacks are crucial. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for significant damage.
Difficulty and Rewards:
Select "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy behavior insights. Co-op mode allows teaming up with other players.
A total of 420 Primogems are available on Utmost Might difficulty. Other rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
