Genshin Impact's Upcoming 5-Star Character Lineup Revealed
Recent leaks have unveiled exciting details about upcoming Genshin Impact character releases, specifically focusing on four new 5-star characters slated for versions 5.4 through 5.7. Version 5.3 has already introduced Mavuika and Citlali, alongside the 4-star Lan Yan arriving later in the update.
The recent Special Program teased silhouettes of four yet-to-be-revealed characters. Reliable leaker DK2 has since identified these characters and their release order: 5.7, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6, all confirmed as 5-star units.
Spotlight on Mizuki (Version 5.4)
The leak strongly suggests the second character (from the left in the silhouette image) will debut in Version 5.4. This character's silhouette aligns perfectly with Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo catalyst user currently in the 5.4 beta. The beta's lack of other 5-star characters further supports this prediction, making Mizuki the likely sole 5-star addition in this update.
Mizuki, hailing from Inazuma, could signal a return to this popular region in the main storyline. This aligns with HoYoverse's pattern of revisiting older nations approximately four to five updates after a new one is introduced.
Beta gameplay indicates Mizuki is a support character excelling with high Elemental Mastery. Early footage also hints at strong synergy with the newly released Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Assuming a first-banner appearance in 5.4, players can anticipate Mizuki's arrival around mid-February.
