The Cell Garden is a crucial area in your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline of Freedom Wars Remastered. It's not only essential for progressing the story but also serves as a safe haven for farming resources, offering a less risky alternative to operations.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to locate each one remains consistent across all levels. Below, you'll find detailed instructions on how to find any Cell Garden and understand its mechanics for resource farming.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins when Mattias assigns you the task of investigating the ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, navigate to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, look towards the left corner to spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.
Upon entering 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. The final step involves using the device in the far room of 2-G100 to access the Cell Garden.
This route to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. To streamline your journey, consider unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement, which significantly reduces the time spent traveling. After completing the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll gain the ability to visit it at any time or explore other Cell Gardens. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making navigation straightforward.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Cell Garden's mechanics differ between the main story mission and subsequent visits. Here's how it functions outside the initial quest:
- You're allotted one minute before being ejected from the Cell Garden.
- The room's layout changes with each visit, adding variety to your resource-gathering experience.
- Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered across the room for you to collect.
To extend your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are crucial, especially when dealing with layouts that include puzzle elements, which can complicate resource collection. The first upgrade, available at CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes, enhancing your ability to gather resources efficiently.
