Konami and FIFA's unexpected esports collaboration: The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 is coming to eFootball! This surprising partnership follows years of competition between FIFA and PES, making this year's tournament a truly unique event.
In-Game Qualifiers Now Live on eFootball!
The tournament features two divisions: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. Eighteen nations are vying for the championship: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.
Three-stage in-game qualifiers run from October 10th to 20th. National nomination phases for the 18 countries follow from October 28th to November 3rd.
The final offline round concludes in late 2024; Konami will announce the precise date later. Even if your country isn't among the 18, you can still participate in the qualifiers up to Round 3, earning rewards like 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and other bonuses.

The Unexpected FIFA and eFootball Alliance
This collaboration is particularly noteworthy given the long-standing rivalry between the two gaming giants. Recall that EA and FIFA ended their decade-long partnership in 2022, reportedly due to a disagreement over licensing fees.
FIFA's demand of a staggering $1 billion every four years, a significant increase from the previous $150 million, led to the split. This resulted in the launch of EA Sports FC 24 in 2023 without the FIFA branding. Now, FIFA has found a new partner in Konami's eFootball for the FIFAe World Cup 2024.
Download eFootball from the Google Play Store and participate! A special event featuring Bruno Fernandes and an 8x match experience multiplier is currently underway, allowing for faster Dream Team progression.
