The trailer presents early gameplay featuring Gwendolyn and her shape-shifting sword companion, Niniane, navigating the ruins of a devastated, otherworldly London, ravaged by an invasion from another realm. Their journey through crumbling streets is constantly challenged by relentless enemies. The trailer reveals Gwendolyn's ability to summon a squad of over ten legendary knights, inspired by the Arthurian legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
After overcoming obstacles and traversing a magical portal, the duo confronts Mordred in a thrilling boss battle. This encounter showcases the game's dynamic combat system, underscored by a haunting choral soundtrack.
According to Kun Fu, the game's producer, as featured on PlayStation.Blog, the combat system offers "intuitive co-op combat within a single-player experience." Players can summon two spectral knights at a time, each with unique combat roles, demanding strategic choices based on the situation. "The interaction between Gwendolyn and the knights creates a dynamic, fast-paced, and deeply engaging combat experience.
