How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
New monsters are frequently added to E.R.P.O., so I recommend bookmarking this page for constant updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to tackle each monster. While there are general strategies, you can also use various weapons to confront them:
- Melee Combat: From Machetes to Hammers, these weapons are available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. They'll appear in your next level, ready for pickup with the M1 button. Swing them at monsters to inflict damage. However, be cautious with ranged attackers like the Huntsman. A hit-and-run approach can minimize damage taken, and bringing healing packs is advisable for melee engagements.
- Grenades and Mines: These can be purchased in the shop. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, unscrew it with E, and then throw it or leave it to explode, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly hurting tougher ones. Mines are placed and wait for monsters to trigger them.
- Monster Brawl: You can manipulate monster interactions. For instance, lure a Huntsman to shoot another monster by hiding behind it and making noise with movement or voice chat. You can also pull Reapers into each other during their attack animations for mutual damage.
Now, let's dive into specific strategies for each monster.
Robe Guide (Ghost)

Robe is the shadowy ghost that you must avoid or it will grab and damage you upon contact. To evade, crouch and hide or kite it around. Alternatively, you can eliminate it using two Grenades or two Mines by luring it towards you. Melee combat is not recommended due to Robe's high damage output. Note that Robe teleports and moves faster when you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide

The Reaper is a raggedy doll with spinning sword arms, dealing damage in melee range. Like Robe, it can be kited or avoided, but it doesn't teleport. Reaper is more susceptible to melee attacks due to its lower damage output. A single grenade followed by a few hits can take it down, and both grenades and mines can stun it.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile unless provoked. They'll follow you around, but if you grab them or cause them harm, they become aggressive, flying and biting with low damage but relentless pursuit. Your best strategy is to outrun them or use melee weapons to dispatch them. Grenades are overkill given their low health.
Huntsman

The Huntsman is a blind marksman who can one-shot you. He relies on sound, triggered by nearby voice chat or fast movement. To evade, crouch with C and hide under tables. Melee combat is risky due to his auto-aim capability. Instead, strategically place a mine or throw a grenade while crouched; the explosion will deafen him for 6 seconds, allowing you to close in with melee weapons.
