Stage 3 of the Wanted: Midas Quest requires players to open an Outlaw Chest, which in turn demands that you reach Rare rarity with the Outlaw Keycard. This can take some time, as it involves robbing multiple vaults, defeating numerous guards, and spending large amounts of gold. Once completed, however, you’ll unlock Stage 4—one of the more unique quests in this season’s lineup.
The mission directs you to locate the “Sensor Backpack,” an item not found in standard chests or on the ground. Instead, it's located behind the wolf statue just south of Crime City—the same area where you can join the Secret Wolf Pack. Many players may already be familiar with this spot. There are three total locations to visit, all positioned relatively close to where you obtained the backpack. Head up the nearby mountain path, and you’ll see three areas marked by floating exclamation points above them.
As you approach each signature point, glowing strands of light will appear. Simply interact with each one to register the scan. While the sites are within proximity of each other, it’s important to scan all three to fully complete the quest and claim the XP reward.
Be mindful though—this area tends to attract many other players who are also working through their Outlaw Quests. Don’t be surprised if someone tries to ambush you mid-scan. It’s wise to come prepared with solid loot and a few healing items before heading up the mountain.
Once the Sensor Backpack task is complete, move on to Stage 5, which challenges you to steal a copy of the Mask-Making Book from the Mask Maker’s Hideout. With good timing and access to a vehicle, you should be able to finish this final stage in the same session.
