NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which only recently had an early access release in June 2024 following a global test in August 2023, is slated for closure.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date:
The game servers will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. However, players who made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.
Refunds for Android and Steam players can be requested between December 2nd, 2024, and January 2025. Players should download any desired game content before November 28th, 2024, as access will be terminated thereafter. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media and Discord channels will close on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The abrupt closure is understandably disappointing for players who invested time and effort into Battle Crush. While the game offered enjoyable moments, it apparently fell short of expectations in terms of overall polish and gameplay fluidity. Some players reported clunky controls and pacing issues. These shortcomings ultimately contributed to the decision to end service.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the servers go offline. Alternatively, stay tuned for our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
