Endless Grades: Pixel Saga is a retro-style pixel RPG that immerses players in a quirky, school-themed fantasy world where students battle monsters, collect grades, and climb the academic ranks. The game blends idle mechanics with turn-based combat, offering a perfect mix of casual progression and strategic planning. Players can customize their team, upgrade student equipment, unlock hidden abilities, and fuse characters to boost their stats. In this character guide, we will be looking deeply at the different systems set in place to empower your heroes. Let’s begin!
Gear Progression
Focus on upgrading your valkyrie’s gear to gain bonus stats. You’ll see six distinct gear slots, each filled with a gear item. These items boost your heroes’ attack, defense, and HP. To enhance the quality of your gear, you’ll need a special currency called “Dragonglass,” which can be obtained through quests, dungeons, tower challenges, market trades, and idle rewards.
Skill Enhancement
Each hero has unique active and passive skills that can be used in battle to overcome enemies. To strengthen these abilities, navigate to the Hero tab, select the hero you wish to upgrade, and go to the “Skill” tab. Here, you’ll find all available skills ready for enhancement. Note that this system uses a rare currency—don’t invest in skills for heroes you won’t use long-term, as the progress will be wasted. Prioritize upgrading active skills over passive ones, since they deal more damage and form the backbone of any effective hero.
