EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025
Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 marks the departure of at least two games from EA's subscription service. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This doesn't signal the end of online play for these titles (at least not yet), but they'll no longer be accessible through your EA Play membership. Subscribers are encouraged to enjoy these games while they remain available.
Key Departures:
- Madden NFL 23: February 15th, 2025
- F1 22: February 28th, 2025
Adding to the February shakeup, UFC 3's online services will shut down on February 17th. The game's availability on EA Play after this date remains uncertain, but its core online functionality will be gone.
What's Still Available (and Coming Soon):
While losing these titles is unfortunate, EA Play subscribers still have plenty to look forward to. Newer installments in each franchise—Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4—remain accessible. Even better news? UFC 5 joins the EA Play lineup on January 14th, 2025.
In short, while some games are rotating out, EA Play continues to offer a robust selection of titles, ensuring a consistently updated gaming experience for its subscribers.
