Fans of Dungeons of Dreadrock rejoice! The sequel, Dungeons of Dreadrock 2: The Dead King's Secret, is making its way to mobile devices. Initially released on the Nintendo Switch last November, this puzzle adventure will arrive on Android on December 29th.
This second installment in the trilogy expands upon the original's Nordic-inspired world, set within the treacherous Dreadrock Mountain. Instead of rescuing a brother, players assume the role of a priestess from the Order of the Flame, tasked with uncovering the legendary Crown of Wisdom. The sequel also delves deeper into the backstory of the original game's heroine, revealing her hidden role in the unfolding events.
Expect 100 meticulously crafted levels filled with brain-bending puzzles, perilous traps, and eerie enemies. The game retains its signature tile-based movement and eschews inventory management and random number generation (RNG), offering only occasional hints to aid players.
Pre-registration for Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 is now open on the Google Play Store. While visually similar to its predecessor, the sequel introduces new monsters and gameplay mechanics.
