Approximately two and a half years ago, we were captivated by Dungeons of Dreadrock, a fantastic gaming experience developed by Christoph Minnameier. This dungeon crawler, reminiscent of classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, offered a unique top-down perspective instead of the traditional first-person view. Its 100 diverse levels, each representing a floor in a sprawling dungeon, presented a compelling puzzle-solving challenge as players rescued their captured brother. The difficulty was notable, with some levels demanding strategic thinking and careful planning to navigate traps and overcome enemies. Our review praised the game, and its subsequent release across numerous platforms garnered similar acclaim. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel. The striking red background and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the familiar snap sound effect, confirm that this Dungeons of Dreadrock installment will debut on Nintendo's platform. The game's website announces a November 28th, 2024 release on the Switch eShop. However, PC gamers need not despair! A PC version is in development and can be added to your Steam wishlist. Mobile versions for iOS and Android are also planned. While precise mobile release dates remain unconfirmed, the announcement is certainly welcome news.
