While EA had previously indicated that Dragon Age: The Veilguard would not see much future support, this unexpected content addition feels like a small miracle, especially after the game's fifth patch in January focused solely on fixing game-breaking bugs.
The Rook's Weapons Appearance Offer is exclusively available to current owners of the game and those who purchase it on PC by April 8, 2025. Though the exact contents of the bundle remain undisclosed, players have discovered that it includes a set of Watchful skins accessible in the Rook's in-game room. It's uncertain whether this offer will extend to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S versions of the game.
Despite the modest nature of the additions, fans are embracing the new content. "Even if these appearances aren't the most, uh, beautiful things ever," one Steam review notes, "they do give spooky eldritch horror vibes!" Another Redditor expressed satisfaction, stating, "It's cosmetic DLC, but it's essentially free DLC for a game that's practically no longer getting newer content. I'll live with that."

Despite launching to positive reviews in October, Dragon Age: The Veilguard struggled to connect with a wider audience, according to EA.
