Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, dubbed Sandlord, has officially launched and promises to be the game's most expansive season to date. This season introduces a host of new features that significantly alter the gameplay experience, allowing players to build and manage a floating empire in the sky.

The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that players can manage. You'll be tasked with gathering resources from the Netherrealm and then converting them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five different professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending traditional ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.
The character Thea undergoes a transformation this season, shedding her previous role as a divine channeler to become the Blasphemer. Instead of offering blessings, she now inflicts desecration, dealing escalating Erosion Damage over time.
The Deep Space region has been revamped, introducing five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been added to the game. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy a unique slot, boosting both rewards and difficulty levels.

The endgame content is enriched with new Legendary Stages. These stages are rare but offer unique loot setups that can significantly alter your strategy. For instance, the Abyssal Vault deviates from the norm by featuring no enemies, just numerous Mystery Chests waiting to be opened.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Sea of Rites challenges players with a swarm of goblins. These goblins don't attack but can summon a secret boss if defeated. The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both players and bosses to transform enemies into treasure with the right hit.
