Upon Aladdin's arrival in Dreamlight Valley, he invites you to join him and the Magic Carpet for a memorable photo session. To complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, which begins in the Agrabah realm, equip the Magic Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

To unlock Aladdin's Level 2 quest, "Good As Gold," you'll need to increase his friendship level by giving him his favorite gifts. Aladdin enlists your help to test Scrooge McDuck's new security system. Start by speaking with Scrooge and then take photos inside his shop, capturing the vault door behind the desk and both staircases. Aim for broad shots to meet all three requirements efficiently. After discussing the next steps with Aladdin, don a dark, sporty outfit, and optionally wait for nightfall (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) to proceed.

Once dressed, enter the shop and trigger the security system test by pressing the red button on the wall to the left of the counter. Navigate through the transformed store, avoiding the pools of light by pressing buttons to turn them off or move them. At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin shares his plan to create a spectacular bouquet for Jasmine, inspired by the palace gardens of Agrabah. Collect 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers and bring them to Aladdin. Despite Jasmine's appreciation, Aladdin feels the need to do more. He reveals a scroll from Scrooge McDuck that hints at a hidden treasure, which he hopes will impress Jasmine.

Follow the scroll's clue to the mermaid's isle on Skull Island. Find the Golden Sun Piece on the upper right side of the peninsula and insert it into the tall rock. Dig up a box, fish for a pillar piece, and open a nearby barrel. Assemble the Pillar, but when nothing happens, consult with Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel.
