Game-Breaking Infinite Damage Build Overwhelms Servers

The current season introduced powerful boss abilities that, when combined correctly, create an unstoppable damage loop. Popular YouTuber Macrobioboi demonstrated this build on May 9, showcasing its ability to clear entire rooms instantly while simultaneously tanking server performance.

The strategy requires the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which makes the Vulnerable status permanent. This interacts unexpectedly with the Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power (normally removing Vulnerable when stunning enemies) and Varshan's Life Steal power that triggers on boss ability activation. The resulting infinite loop generates so many calculations that servers can't keep up.

As shown in wudijo's gameplay footage, the screen becomes overwhelmed with effects while enemies remain permanently stunned. He noted "There are a lot of calculations going on - it's very understandable this causes lag." Blizzard hasn't yet addressed this server-crippling exploit, though they'll likely implement a fix soon.
Berserk Crossover Sparks Pricing Concerns
The current Berserk collaboration offers impressive cosmetics, but their premium pricing structure has drawn criticism from fans. While some free items are earnable (like the Brand of Sacrifice Marking and Skull Knight armor), the full experience requires significant spending:
- Berserker Armor (Barbarian): 2,800 Platinum (~$28)
- Hawk of Light (Rogue): 2,800 Platinum
- Skull Knight (Necromancer): 2,800 Platinum

The complete collection costs approximately $150, sparking debate about fair pricing for crossover content. This follows similar pricing models seen in previous collaborations, setting concerning precedents for future events.
While the premium Berserk items showcase excellent quality, many players feel the pricing is excessive. Diablo 4 remains available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
