Who Are the New Heroes?

First up are Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, with Thing and Human Torch set to arrive later. Team-Up abilities enhance Invisible Woman's healing, while Mister Fantastic gains a rapid health regeneration ability.
Invisible Woman
With relatively few support characters currently in the game, Invisible Woman offers a welcome addition for players who enjoy this role. Her attacks pierce through multiple targets, damaging enemies and healing allies—highly effective in crowded situations. While her range isn't extensive, staying close to teammates is key.

Invisible Woman can turn invisible by avoiding attacks and abilities for six seconds—a lengthy process, making it situational. However, she heals while invisible. A more practical invisibility tactic is her double jump, providing a swift escape from danger. She can also deploy a shield in front of an ally (best used for duelists and repositioned frequently to protect injured teammates), pull or push opponents (repelling is ideal for self-defense before evasive maneuvers, while pulling aids allies in attacks), and launch a sphere that pulls enemies into a damaging area, useful for chokepoints. Three consecutive melee attacks result in a push, though this is often less effective than other escape options. Finally, her ultimate creates a healing and invisibility zone, although its stationary nature makes it vulnerable to area-of-effect attacks.
Overall, Invisible Woman provides a balanced and tactical support option, offering strong utility without overpowering existing characters like Luna Snow and Mantis.
Mister Fantastic
Mister Fantastic is a unique and entertaining character, reflecting his elastic powers. His medium-range strikes can hit multiple enemies if aimed correctly. As he attacks and uses abilities, a meter fills, triggering an inflated form with increased damage and durability.

His "Shift" ability allows him to absorb damage briefly before releasing it in a powerful shot. He can also pull characters, gaining a temporary shield (allies gain shields, enemies take damage), making him mobile and survivable. A right-click extends his arm to immobilize opponents, allowing for further actions. His ultimate is a jumping area attack that slows and damages, repeating if it hits an enemy—similar to Bucky's ultimate but potentially less effective. Mister Fantastic blends duelist and tank elements, offering a strong but not overpowered character.
Both new heroes offer unique and enjoyable gameplay experiences. The developers' commitment to creating distinct characters is evident, and anticipation builds for the upcoming additions to the Fantastic Four roster this season.
