The New Denpa Men has now made its way to Android devices, following its initial release on the Nintendo Switch in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this quirky RPG brings some unique features to mobile that differentiate it from its Switch counterpart.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew on the Go!
One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is the support for cross-platform play. If you've been catching and battling Denpa Men on your Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your adventure on your mobile device.
On Android (and iOS), the game introduces a novel feature called QR Catch, which allows you to scan nearby QR codes to recruit new Denpa Men to your team, replacing the Normal Catch method. However, some features like Together Catch and Offline Catch, available on the Switch, are not included in the mobile version.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection system. After battles, monsters may drop vouchers called Akashi, which you can collect to complete sets. These vouchers can be gifted to friends or used strategically in battles.
There's also a new twist with scarecrows in the game. You can summon monsters using these scarecrows, and they will join your side in combat, attacking enemies and healing your party. Don't miss out on seeing these features in action by watching the game's trailer below.
Will You Catch The New Denpa Men on Android?
The Denpa Men are mysterious creatures that float invisibly in the airwaves. Your mission in the game is to catch these unique beings, train them, and embark on thrilling adventures. The game offers a mix of dungeon-crawling and island decoration, allowing you to interact with your Denpa Men, go fishing, and explore various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. The game is primarily controlled via touchscreen, though you have the option to use a controller for a more traditional gaming experience.
