In MLB The Show 25, even the most dedicated baseball player might yearn for a change of scenery. Luckily, San Diego Studio’s Road to the Show mode offers a way to shake things up, even if it's not a direct "demand a trade" option.
After navigating your high school career and choosing between college or going pro, you initially control your destiny. But the dynamic nature of professional sports means things can change rapidly. While previous versions allowed you to directly request a trade, MLB The Show 25 takes a different approach.
Instead of a direct request, you can influence your chances of a trade through the game's settings. Navigate to the Road to the Show Sliders and locate the "Trade Frequency" setting. Adjusting this slider to the maximum will significantly increase the likelihood of trades occurring throughout the mode, including your own.

Remember, increasing trade frequency doesn't guarantee an immediate trade; other teams must first take notice of your performance. Your agent will inform you of any burgeoning interest, and eventually, trade offers will arrive. Carefully consider each offer, as there's no guarantee of further opportunities. Once you find a suitable team, accept the trade and readjust the "Trade Frequency" slider to a lower setting to avoid constant trade inquiries.
That’s how you effectively "demand" a trade in MLB The Show 25's Road to the Show. For more tips and tricks, check out our guide on the best pitching settings.
