How to Beat the Eye Monster (Peeper) in R.E.P.O.
The Peeper is a stealthy foe, lurking on ceilings and blending into the environment. It spawns randomly across the map, remaining dormant until you venture too close. Once you're within its range, this giant eyeball will open, locking your gaze and causing you to lose two HP per second. While the Peeper is categorized in the lowest tier of danger, its ability to disorient you can be a significant hindrance, especially when other threats are nearby.

When caught in the Peeper's gaze, your perspective zooms in on the eyeball, making it difficult to navigate or escape from other enemies. To counter this, always be mindful of potential Peeper spawn points and maintain a clear escape route. If you spot a Peeper, your best strategy is to break line of sight by moving around a corner or through a doorway. If possible, close the door to sever the Peeper's gaze. Teamwork can be invaluable here; having a teammate shut the door for you can make this maneuver much smoother. The key is to stay calm and keep moving.
