Starting January 17th, 2025, Godzilla invades Fortnite Chapter 6. To gain a massive advantage, you'll need to become Godzilla. It takes a bit of luck: a rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale Island in each match. Be the first to find and jump into it, and you'll emerge as Godzilla!
As Godzilla, unleash chaos with three devastating moves: a Roar to pinpoint nearby players, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict serious damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be gunning for you!

How To Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite

If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, prepare for an epic battle! Thankfully, Godzilla has weak points. Hitting these will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, providing 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility during the fight.
Epic Games has unvaulted the Rail Gun for this event, offering a high-damage option. High-rarity weapons are also effective. Focus on dealing significant damage, as the player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla will receive the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Defeating Godzilla is a challenge, but the rewards—the Godzilla Medallion, the Burst Quad Launcher, and bragging rights—are well worth the effort.
