Dark and Darker Mobile's eagerly awaited pre-season #3, 'Grappling with the Abyss,' is now live and runs until June 10th. Much like the excitement surrounding Sonic Rumble's pre-launch event with Sega icons, Dark and Darker Mobile is rolling out a slew of new content for its soft launch players, making this update a must-try for fans of the extraction shooter genre.
One of the major highlights of this season is the introduction of the Arena mode, which brings competitive PvP action to the game. In this mode, players can engage in intense 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches on randomized maps. To participate, you'll need to reach at least level 10 and have a minimum equipment score of 500. You can also bring along a hired mercenary companion to bolster your team.
Another significant addition is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode featuring weekly, escalating boss battles. To access this challenging content, your account must be at least level 15. Before facing off against the powerful bosses, you'll need to clear waves of monsters, making the journey to the boss fight an adventure in itself.
This pre-season #3 update also includes a variety of other exciting features. The Guild Encampment offers a social hub where players can interact and build community. The new Soulstone system allows you to equip a monster's soulstone to gain unique traits, which becomes available at account level 8. Additionally, the Stat Tree system provides persistent progression, complementing the influx of new loot, monsters, gear, and quality-of-life improvements.
