Shadow Milk Cookie, a formidable beast, harnesses otherworldly energy. His "Puppet Show" skill targets low-HP enemies, inflicting consistent damage culminating in a devastating Grand Finale that affects all enemies and applies a damaging Taint effect. Even after defeat, he transforms, continuing his puppet summoning.
Candy Apple Cookie, wielding a colossal lollipop, crushes enemies, diminishing their attack and defense. Shattering the lollipop provides HP shields for allies and boosts their attack. The shards further amplify damage dealt to enemies, making Candy Apple a powerful ally.
Spire of Shadows introduces Confusion and Distortion mechanics (previously seen in Stage 7-4). Confusion increases damage taken by the team, while simultaneously boosting Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies. The Domain of Deceit effect, active on specific stages, reduces damage taken by these Cookies, adding strategic layers to combat.
Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering crucial memories and secrets that shape the Cookie World's destiny. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, enabling the collection of Yeast Ore and increased Rainbow Pearls in the Trade Harbor.
