Get ready, Clash of Clans fans, because a monumental update is hitting the game in March 2025! This isn’t just any update; it's the kind players have been dreaming of for years. Supercell is set to overhaul the game with one of the most significant changes ever, phasing out several long-standing features.
No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine being able to jump into back-to-back battles without any wait time. That’s right, with the new update, you can attack without the usual delays in training troops, spells, or siege machines. Even better, hero recovery time is a thing of the past, so your heroes will always be ready for action. This change will be available for players in the Titan League and below. However, those in the Legend League will still be limited to eight battles per day, for now.
This major shift is part of a broader move by Supercell to strip away outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, eliminating training time altogether will give players the freedom to engage in the game without artificial barriers.
With these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats are becoming obsolete. They will be phased out from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
Ever run out of real bases to attack? The new Match Anytime system has you covered. When there aren’t enough active player bases, you can now attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These attacks function just like regular battles; you can earn loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. This system, already familiar from Clan Wars and Legend League, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.
With more battles per session on the horizon, adjustments to the Trophy Curves are necessary. The number of trophies earned from victories will be reduced. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at a swift 10 minutes for everyone.
